Aruba Airport in a nutshell

Aruba Airport is named after the Dutch queen and is called Aruba Queen Beatrix International Airport in full. The special thing about this airport is that passengers for flights to the United States already pass through American customs at this airport.

The airport is situated directly southeast of Oranjestad, Aruba's capital, at about three kilometers from the city center. There are no trains on Aruba. Buses connect the airport with the capital and other places on the island. Aruba Airport lies directly along the island's main road and is easily reachable by car.

Aruba Airport isn't very large and the number of eating and drinking facilities and shops is therefore limited. The terminal has three VIP lounges which offer basic business services like faxing and photocopying. To rent meeting space or conference rooms you need to turn to the larger resorts and hotels on the island. Wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is available, but you need to buy an access code to use it.
