San Sebastián is a city in the Basque Country in Spain and is located on the Bay of Biscay at only 20 kilometers from the French border. National and local trains depart from Donostia Station. San Sebastián is connected by train with for example Barcelona Sants and Madrid. There are, however, also night trains to Paris and other parts of Spain. Only local trains run from San Sebastián's other station, Euskotren Station.

San Sebastián's city buses (D-Bus) stop in front of the station. These are lines 24 (Altza-Antiguo) and 17 (Centro-Amara Anoeta). There are also regional buses to for example Hondarribia. It's also a good alternative to continue your journey by rental car; an ideal means to explore this magnificent region. You can find a branch of Europcar at the station. In the city you have several possibilities to rent a bike.
