Beirut Airport in a nutshell

Beirut Airport is considered one of the most modern and best airports in the Middle East. The airport of Lebanon's capital is constantly being further extended and improved.

The airport is situated in Beirut's suburbs, 9 kilometers south of the city center. There's no train connection with the airport and there are also no regular bus connections between the airport and the Lebanese capital. There are minibuses, which are located outside the Departure Hall. The airport is easily reachable by car and the way from the center is clearly signposted.

Following the modernization, the airport has a large shopping center with specialty shops and several duty-free shops. There aren't many different restaurants, but the places to eat are large. For business meetings you can use two VIP lounges (in a large, covered garden). To rent meeting or conference rooms you need to turn to the business hotels in Beirut. Internet access is available via computers or wireless (in some restaurants Wi-Fi is free). Other facilities at Beirut Airport include banks, exchange offices, and ATMs.
