Viareggio Train Station is located in the Tuscan province of Lucca, on Italy's west coast. The station which is situated in Viareggio's center on the Piazza Dante was inaugurated in 1936. It's an important junction for onward travel to cities like Pisa, Florence, Livorno, La Spezia, Genoa, Parma, Milan and Lucca. The four covered platforms are connected by a pedestrian underpass. The station has monitors showing the train times. Track 3 is used for trains to Pisa Central Station, and tracks 5 and 6 are used for trains to and from Florence via Lucca. Tracks 7 and 8 are used for trains to and from Lucca.
