Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport used to be called Fréjorgues Airport. Due to the arrival of budget airline Ryanair, the airport has grown tremendously. In addition to the budget airlines, bigger companies like British Airways also use the airport.

There is no train connection between Montpellier and the airport. The airport is easy to reach by bus and car. A ticket to the shuttle bus costs € 4.80. There are no hotels at the airport.

There is a reasonable number of shops, restaurants and (snack) bars at the airport, considering the fact that it is a small airport. After the security check, the services are minimal, so you might want to delay this moment. The Business Centre has meeting rooms for groups between 4 and 90 people. The rooms are equipped with Internet access, videoconferencing facilities and overhead projectors. Catering is possible. The airport is very accessible to disabled people.
