Gare de la Rochelle is La Rochelle's central station. The building dates back to 1922 and has its own bell tower of 45 meters high. At the beginning of the nineties, the station was renovated in preparation for the TGV from Paris Montparnasse, which calls at La Rochelle. The city is located in the west of France on the Bay of Biscay.

Transportation

If you want to stay in La Rochelle or if you want to explore the surroundings, you can find taxis in front of the station. You don't need a reservation. La Rochelle's city buses stop on the left-hand side and regional buses stop directly in front of the building.
