Everything was fine except that

Everything was fine except that no spare tyre was included in the boot/trunk. We had a puncture on our first day many km away from the pick up point and as no spare was in the car, we could not simply put the spare on and continue our journey. We had to wait for assistance and have it changed the next day at a garage. That was very inconvenient.

Alamo's operational rental office at

Alamo's operational rental office at Sants Station in Barcelona is very difficult to find. The office inside the station is not used and has a single sheet of paper taped to the door that states that the rental office is on the roof, but it has no directions on how to get to the roof. The roof is only accessible via 3 or 4 flights of stairs, so if you're carrying luggage then it's a challenge. The saving grace for Alamo is that the guy at the counter is incredibly friendly and knows that it's not easy to find the office. He was able to diffuse my near outrage because he was so nice.
